Today, India has emerged as one of the leading exporters of rice. Over the years, the country has restored its top position as a supplier of Basmati rice. Throughout the globe, the demand for this staple cereal has risen and so has its supply. Falcon International has taken this as an opportunity to offer people around the world with India’s top produce. Whether its Basmati or non-Basmati, we send the best grains to places across Africa and Bangladesh.
Basmati Rice
Considered as the most aromatic grain of all, Basmati is especially raised in Himalayan foothill regions of India. The grains are long and slender. At Falcon International, we seek pleasure in offering people overseas with handpicked grains revealing a superior texture, taste and aroma. Basmati rice is popular throughout the world for its distinct flavour. The crops are carefully grown with the help of specific agronomic practices. Besides, the harvesting procedures are different. Crops yielding Indian Basmati grains demand various types of nutrition because they possess special attributes.
Non-Basmati
Non Basmati is highly demanded throughout the world and is consumed on a daily purpose. These grains are considered staple throughout India and worldwide. At Falcon International we serve rice eaters with superior grade grains which are processed thoroughly to maintain, flavour, aroma and their inherent nutritional properties. We supply rice in bulk quantities and hence leave no stone unturned to assure quality. Since, the grains have to undergo various processing methods, their nutritional value remains intact. Also, the non-basmati grains have a better shelf life. Falcon International pays high attention towards assuring dust and stone-free cereals. Considering their vide variety of shapes and sizes, the prices of non-basmati grains differ as well. While some can be really slender and long, others can be thick and short. Each and every grain of non-basmati is refined for quality, aroma and taste. Their wholeness is preserved with the help of advanced packaging which restore the flavour and scent of each and every grain.
Boiled rice/Parboiled rice
Falcon International is also a major supplier of boiled rice. The grains are less calorific and are available in white or brown colour. They are slender and long and are rich in nutrients. Consumption of boiled rice is common in Indian households because the rice contains minerals. Boiled rice can be easily digested. Also, we deal with parboiled rice supplies. Parboiled rice includes shorter grains. Otherwise these grains can be referred to as under-milled. Consumption of parboiled rice is higher because the processing entails a mechanism where all the minerals and the vitamins present in grains are directly driven from aleurone or the outer layer to the endosperm; thus, restoring the nutritional benefits of each grain. Furthermore, heat is applied during the process whereby the grains become harder and resistant to infestation.
Long grain
Long grain rice is naturally found in India. The grains feature longer and slender shape. Besides, they arrive with an aromatic flavour. The grain can be as long as four or five times that of a short grain variety. Long grains are available in white and brown colour, the most common being Basmati rice. Jasmine rice too is popular among rice eaters who are extra cautious about the calories they consume with each serving. The slender grains usually remain firm and dry in texture. They stay separate after cooking. Long grain rice is highly in demand because of their delicious flavour and distinct aroma.
Short Grain
Known as the most universal food, rice can be categorised under short, medium and long grains. The short grain variety showcases a stout structure, with wide circumference and shorter length. They are tiny and broad and when cooked they look even plumper, softer and stickier. This variety is widely known for its use in Indian, continental and oriental food. Short grain rice is known as commonest staple across the world.
Our supplies are packaged in 25Kg pp woven bags, which help restore the qualitative value of the grains. Also, these sacks are crafted with high quality fibre to ensure safe delivery of products.
